Jesse Tree, Day 25 – God Keeps His Promise

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. Isaiah 9:6, KJV

I am so glad that God keeps His promise! As the children of God waited for the promise to be fulfilled, there were rough times. There were times when they doubted that a messiah would ever come.

But one night in a humble stable in Bethlehem, in the presence of sheep, and other animals, God keeps His promise. Jesus is born through the promised family line of King David and in the town prophesied by the prophet Micah.

None of us was there to witness the first coming. How about we plan to be prepared and ready for His second coming?
